The PMMDA is proud of the links with Industry.

As an affiliate member of the British Plastics Federation, the PMMDA benefits from membership of EUROMAP and actively participates in all EUROMAP activities, including the support of major trade events and the collection of data.

Our links are used to assist our Members and their potential customers.

By our recent joining of METCOM, we aim to extend the communication between ourselves and our sister organisations in order to assist all users of our service.

Each year we collect statistics for Injection Moulding Machines for both UK and Export Sales, and Robotic and Ancillary Equipment was initiated in 2002. We also collect statistics for the charges made for Service Engineers the results of which are made available to member companies only.

We actively promote links with local Business Link and Chamber of Commerce Advisors and work with them in promoting business advice and financial support on a variety of projects.

We are responsible for the administration of the Worshipful Company of Horners NEW Bottle Making Award - launched October 2002.
