The export group was set up some 18 months ago and is today lead by Committee Member Colin Brookes of Boston Matthews and driven by the needs of 9 member companies.

Companies exporting face numerous issues including huge exhibition costs, legal issues with recruiting agents and translation costs. The direct aim of the Export group is to tackle these issues on a personal level.

Working in association with the British Plastics Federation, opportunities in export markets have been investigated with in-depth overviews given from an expert in that field, together with the view of companies who currently export to those markets.

The Exporters Agency Network, has already led the establishment of a 'recommended' list of agents worldwide. This list is open to all members who actively participate in our Export Initiative and provide details of any agents they may currently have.

The PMMDA has always supported the export activity of it's members through the forwarding of enquiries from Trade UK and foreign trade associations. The PMMDA office also directs foreign enquiries to members.
